Lester, Nowhere - Extra
Rising Italian producer Lester, Nowhere pays tribute to Memphis Phonk with the Extra tape.
Radio Juicy presents "Extra" by young Italian beatmaker Lester, Nowhere. Slowly moving in an hazy atmosphere, like a dark room filled with smoke and people dancing slowly almost like a slow motion rendered by stroboscopic light spot. This album is Lester, Nowhere's take and homage on Memphis Phonk and he delivers. The tape feels inspired, fresh and original. If you are already familiar with Lester, Nowhere then this will be a nice surprise if not this is a great introduction to the talented beatmaker.

Small Professor - Free Jawns
Philadelphia’s own Small Professor keeps adding to his ginormous catalog and the Jawns instrumental series with the release of Free Jawns.
i made this to distract me from mixing "church jawns" (that's dropping next, word to chris rogers). all samples from the band in the title, which makes this the little b̶r̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ sister of the chicago/queen/prince jawns set. technically an EP, but who cares. enjoy! - sp

Joe Corfield - Patterns
UK producer Joe Corfield drops a serious gem with the release of his latest full-length instrumental project entitled Patterns.
The album is all about Patterns, otherwise known as the details that creates reality, after all everything is just formed of tinier things repeating themselves. But this expands also over the chemical nature of the universe, we're talking occurring events as odd or mundane as they are and also behavior of all living things. Basically everything can be observed to follow certain patterns. In this case music, but not only the music itself, the industry, the musicians and listeners all follow their own patterns that blend together. We're all part of this incredible web connecting us all.
