Robin Williams
A mural honoring Robin Williams has been painted in his hometown of Chicago.
The painting was erected on the side of the Concord Music Hall over the weekend. It features a black and white portrait of the late, acclaimed actor surrounded by blue, animated genies— an allusion to William's role as Genie in the 1992 animated classic Disney film, Aladdin.

The project is reportedly a collaboration between local street artists, and reportedly serve as a form of commentary on Williams' life as a comedian playing characters for the public's entertainment, and his personal internal strife.
The mural surfaces in September, which is suicide prevention awareness month.
Williams died of asphyxiation due to suicide by hanging in 2014. He was 63.
