A Tribe Called Quest is releasing their first new album in nearly 20 years, and they're opening a pop-up shop in their hometown to celebrate the occasion.
We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service is scheduled for a Friday, Nov. 11 release, and a pop-up shop will be open for three days in New York City. The shop will be open at 393 Broadway from 3 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, and from 12 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13.
The shop will have merchandise related to the album: t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, bomber jackets, and physical copies of the new album. See photos of the merchandise below.
For people outside of New York City, the pieces can be purchased in bundle packages at the group's web store.
We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service will be available on Friday, Nov. 11, and will have guest appearances by Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Jack White, Elton John, and Busta Rhymes. You can also pre-order your copy from the OKP Shop.
The group is also scheduled to perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend, with the episode being hosted by Dave Chappelle.
In related Tribe news, the following weekend, a street in Queens will be co-named after the late, great ATCQ member Phife Dawg, who died this year from complications from diabetes.
