Action Bronson Discusses His Growth As An Artist, Joint Projects w/ Mark Ronson & Alchemist + More Live From Yankees Training Camp
These days, Action Bronson is just about everywhere. He's been the rap-game Anthony Bourdain, a taco hustling kingpin, a redeemer of the "Uptown Funk," balled with gorillas and ridden on the back of sharks with laser beams coming out of their eyes, not to mention, rocked studios with Pete & Pete's Danny Tamberelli. Basically, living out every twenty-something's Richie Rich/Dr. Evil fantasy. Today we're happy to bring you the blue eyed bomber live and direct from Yankees training camp in Tampa, where he sat with Wild 94.1's Bootleg Kev to discuss his forthcoming major label debut as Mr. Wonderful, continuing his work with friends and collaborators Mark Ronson and Alchemist (both of which are prominently featured on the new record and slated to get their own joint projects) and generally, how he reflects on his evolution as an artist since his more clean-shaven days as Dr. Lecter. All of which can be found in the clip below, following an awfully eventful few weeks, where we've been treated to a barrage of choice sights and sounds. Jump back and peep the video for "Actin' Crazy" or hear his comically heartbreaking "Baby Blue" cut featuring Ronson and Chance The Rapper. Preorder Mr. Wonderful on iTunes today ahead of its March 24th release and stay tuned for the next installment.
