Apparently in recognition of the birthdays of both Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace (May 21st) and Malcolm "X" Little (May 19th), the one Yasiin Bey lets the next freestyle in his Top 40 Underdog series off the leash. Adapting the funereal chords of Lil Wayne & Rick Ross' "John (If I Die Tonight)" to a soliloquy that is both self-aggrandizing--"I was born a don"--and expectedly elevating--"My Black is brighter than the dark." That's a ghetto paradox like crocodile gators.
