QB's own Tragedy Khadafi teams with BP on Immortal Titans. The Dutchman drops The Otter Album and Bozack Morris brings plenty of impressive cuts and collaborators on Loose Cannons. 10.4 ROG is Up&Out, Cleveland native WesWill has the Summertime Slaps, Cookin Soul follows Polo Ye with Polo Beats and HASEEB shines on Growth.

DJ Tahleim leads the pack for the second half of this week’s roundup with The Wonder of Fania mix. DJ Tony Tone takes on pillowy soft rap acts with No Tunes For The Timid, DJ Harvey Dent represents for The Mixologists with Summertime Fine, King Most is In The Mix for Serato and Sisters With Soul return with the latest edition of the Lovecast.

10.4 ROG drops a musical inventory of his creative output in Oakland with the release of up&outURbody: 2014-2017.

almost all of this music was made in oakland, CA while i was in grad school for film. along w/ "hand drawn rhythm machine", i consider this collection a parallel thesis of sorts: a brain dump of creative impulses that i set aside while i worked on my actual film thesis, which was a short documentary about a family friend who makes his living as a professional musician.

WesWill - Summertime Slaps Vol. 1

Cleveland native WesWill follows the 2017 GlassHouse 2 tape with Summertime Slaps Volume 1. Pulling from a bevy of influences including Outkast, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Big K.R.I.T. and DJ Quik, WesWill leads with his signature rapid-fire flow across a total of seven tracks.

HASEEB - Growth

Left coast rapper HASEEB represents for the Muslim American millennial set with the introspective, ten-track project Growth. The album follows lead singles “Droppin,” “Feel Good” and “Slow,” as well as HASEEB’s 2015 Curtiss King-produced extended play The Daisy Chain.
