BOOTS The Tonight Show I Run Roulette square
Producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist BOOTS is in the midst of a mighty rise. After past collaborations with marquee names like Beyonce and Run The Jewels, the prolific artistalso known as Jordan Asher is making moves for his own sake, and pulled through The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night to perform "I Run Roulette," the seismic psych-rock track found on the soundtrack to Motorcycle Jesus, a film which BOOTS made himself.
Draped in strobe lights and backed by only a duo of drummers, BOOTS charged through "I Run Roulette" and brought a level of artistic intensity of Fallon that will surely be hard to top in the coming weeks and months. BOOTS is also taking his prowess out on the road in the coming weeks--the jack-of-all-trades man has confirmed shows on both the West and East Coasts, nights which hopefully won't stray too far from this band's high-octane, stripped back approach.
