It’s been some months since the last time we heard from DMV trio Columbia Nights, but they return today and make it clear their remix game is still A-1. They continue the celebration of Black Music Month with this beautiful remix of the homie Aaron ‘AB’ Abernathy’s “Now A Days.” They couldn’t have picked a better and more timely track to remix as this. The song features AB soulfully and emotionally singing of the plight of black people in this country of ours. The sad truth being that this song sounds like something that would apply to the times of the Civil Rights Movement, but in reality is a very accurate depiction of what’s going on in America in 2016. Listen to the Columbia Nights remix, below, and look for more music on the way as they’re currently working on a new project.
