Decap - "Feeling"
Way back in 2014, Bay Area beat buster Decap showed off his uncanny ability for splicing and dicing arrangements and fitting them to snares so tight, kicks so deep, claps so crackling, that they immediately recall the MPC magic of J Dilla and/or any one of the brightest beat scene pillars. Today we have the pleasure of bringing the world its very first taste of Decap's forthcoming The Chills project in the OKP premiere of "Feeling"; a cosmic concoction of silky, submerged synthesizers, the swirl and linger over a hotbed of big, bold drums, all of which is accented by phased-for-days vocals from Devaun Bantu and added touches from Chris Keys on what else, but the keys. The Chills is due at some point in music's great watershed year (2015) and will be followed by a tour in 2016 so you can experience all of the hempy sonic goodness live and direct.
