DJ Premier and Royce Da 5'9" take a stroll down memory lane in the new visual for the title-track of their forthcoming collaborative piece PRhyme. It builds a collage out of footage from both yesteryear and today, adding yet another proper clip in a remarkable resurgence from the duo of true-school titans. In fact as of late, a week has yet to go by without some sounds or sights from the longtime collaborators. We've gotten everything from the leaked heater "Courtesy" to the visuals for "U Looz," which took place in (who else but) Adrian Younge's record store.
Speaking of Mr. Younge, did we mention that his vintage soul chops are the bones of this piece? That Preemo has taken stake in the Analogue Man's vintage production styles,?That PRhyme has the makings of an insta-classic solely on that premise? We can't be sure whether the whole piece will hit as hard as we've heard thus far, but we won't have to wait much longer to find out.
