Guilty Simpson Bruises Bars On New Katalyst-Produced Heater "Vanguard Organization"

It's been a good minute since the mighty Guilty Simpson graced us with bruising bars, but the Stones Throw staple has returned with the heat. Early this morning, one of Detroit's finest microphone menaces let loose a blistering new cut in "Vanguard Organization," a two-minute spar of Guilty's sinister rhymes over murky organs, punctuating horns and a very subtle, ride-heavy back beat. According to the Stones Throw camp, this is just our first taste of what Guilty and label-mate Katalyst have been cooking up behind closed doors and plumes of kush smoke, which could very well be a reintroduction to Quakers; Stones Throw's 30-deep supergroup comprised MED, Jonwayne, Frank Nitt, Phat Kat, Krondon, Geoff Barrow and much too many more for these few hundreds words to hold. There's no word as to when we'll be getting the full drop, but seems like it could very well be this year. So keep your eyes and ears on us for the scoop and until then, bide your time with Guilty Simpson's latest "Vanguard Organization" below and jump back to get acquainted if your ears are pleased. North Carolinians can catch Guilty with The Suicide Kings at Pour House Music Hall next week in Raleigh.
