To celebrate the bubbling success of a new song, Big Sean has formally released a song with Chance the Rapper and Jermih that was leaked last summer.
Sean's single "Bounce Back" landed in the top 40 of Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart this week, so he released "Living Single" late on Friday. An unfinished version of the song was leaked in July, and Sean and Chance were both upset about it.
"I didn't release a new song, one of my songs were leaked. Idk how to explain to you how that feels, but it doesn't feel good," Chance tweeted.
"Damn "Living Single" was actually something I was working on for my album, sucks when people leak something not ready and spoil for the listeners," Sean added a few hours later.
Well now, the song has found an official release on Apple Music after the success of "Bounce Back."
Sean dropped "Bounce Back" and another song called "No More Interviews" at the same time in October, in a manner reminiscent to when he dropped four songs at once a few months before the release of his breakthrough album Dark Sky Paradise.
"No More Interviews" was the lengthier rapping display but "Bounce Back" had the makings of a redemption anthem with Sean's catchy hook and the knocking beat by Hitmaka, Smash David, Metro Boomin and Amaire Johnson. and it landed in the top 40 after Sean released the music video last week.
