Hiatus Kaiyote's "No Weight" Is The Perfect Score To Your Next Astral Projection

Last month Hiatus Kaiyote wrapped up a short run of stateside summer tour dates, sharing bills with Erykah Badu, Rich Medina and Jon Bap amongst other modern greats. The tour was a hefty reminder of the furious live and direct fusions the Australian four-piece wields. But it probably had you itching for some newness. And while a true blue fresh cut hasn't arrived just yet, a new-to-you offering has surfaced in a live take of the dreamy unreleased ballad "No Weight," which doubles as the perfect score for your astral projections; delicate, yet propulsive r&b doused with a hint of jazz for the progressive music head.

It's unclear precisely which era of Kaiyote the cut dawns from, but this should certainly hold you over until something new springs forth. Hear something kinda new (and kinda awesome) from Hiatus Kaiyote down below and hold tight for their next transmission. If you're looking to bring a little more Hiatus Kaiyote into your life, revisit their Choose Your Weapon LP on iTunes or the remix album, Recalibrations Vol. 1and hope with us all that the second volume isn't too far down the pipeline.
