Now that we're in the homestretch of this election season, presidential hopefuls, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, are lighting up the press circuit with appearances and interviews. Both Clinton and Trump recently sat with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show for some light jabs and general softball. Today Clinton joins Funny Or Die's political pundit, Zach Galifinakis, for some straight shooting on Between Two Ferns.
Things get off to a rocky start when Galifinakis attempts to scare the former First Lady and aspiring POTUS, but then they settle into the tough questions; the campaign's focus, Trump and Clinton's daughters consulting one another on schoolgirl crushes, how best to reach Clinton in the event of an emergency, and, well, general buffoonery, to which Clinton was not as receptive. All in all, she was a good sport, rivaling President Obama's own time on set all the way back in 2013. You can watch Hillary Clinton go in on Between Two Ferns down below. Let's just hope the "fair play" laws bring Trump to Galifinakis' studio, if only just to see him squirm for a bit.
The first presidential debate takes place on Monday, September 26th, and if this interview proves anything, Galifinakis could make a damn good moderator. We're not holding our breath, though.
