India Arie Returns w/ Touching, Inspiring New Hymn "Breathe"

India Arie may not be the most visible artist in the game these days, but it appears we can always count on her to resurface when we need her most. Late last week Arie sent up a flare of hope with the release of her first single since 2013, the spirited and inspiring "Breathe," which was captured in pristine clarity in a group arrangement, performed with children, elders and everyone in between.

More than just a tactful piggy-back off the pain of the masses, "Breathe" serves as a guiding mantra, a means of dialing back the hurt and frustration that flooded the collective consciousness of the world in these trying weeks and shows us how to process, how to simply "Breathe." Watch and listen as India Arie is joined by people of all shades and ages to perform "Breathe" in the clip below.
