Jneiro Jarel's treated us to a vivid teaser for the upcoming FLORA EP just last week, but today we're getting our first full treatment of the sonic exploration we tasted in that clip with the release of his frantic new single "Cahuita." Jazzy, seemingly live guitar licks run wild over an unhinged shuffle that will certainly put those feet to work, or at the very least give you some strain in the neck, proving once more that he's not merely one of MF DOOM's disciples. Brace yourself, it seems that Jarel is poised to step into the lane of the Jaylibs, the Clutchy Hopkins, the Dangermouses and the like, providing us with new takes on the beatmaking tradition from one of its brightest and most eclectic torchbearers. And as it stands, we aren't even close to mad. This has been a long time coming from one of the most elusive producers and musicians on the face of The Earth.
