OKP Premiere: Khary Durgans "Donkey Kong 64"
I promise you this isn’t free promo for that god awful new Adam Sandler movie. No, instead it’s the OKP premiere of the latest random jawn from Rhode Island emcee, Khary Durgans. Khary links with Ozhora Miyagi for this 64-bit sounding joint, “Donkey Kong 64.” Says Khary of the song: "I made this song a few months ago after Ozhora Miyagi had sent me a bunch of beats. This one stuck out to me because I really couldn't picture myself rapping on it. It sounds like if the music for (Nintendo 64's) Donkey Kong 64 had been turned in trap soundtrack (hence the name). The song was half written and half a freestyle; I just had fun with it. I sent Akeem Team, who's been killing it, some artwork ideas and here we are with me fishing, Pepe the Frog, and a Magicarp.” That artwork is pretty amazing. If you’re new to dude, check the last few joints, and let’s hope a new project is coming soon.
