Old and young funkateers are in for a treat over these next few months, as the legendary Kool & The Gang will lead an eight date tour throughout the summer season. They'll be joined by Morris Day & The Time (for every show except one,) Bootsy Collins and his Rubber Band, as well as Doug E. Fresh and even Big Daddy Kanewho will be on the bill for the tour opener in Charlotte, NC on July 22nd. The Keeping The Funk Alive tour will hit Raleigh, Detroit, Brooklyn, Vegas, DC and other US cities before capping their run off in Los Angeles on August 28th.
