OKP Premiere: Kriswontwo & MED Share A Cinematic Clip For Their "Epiphany Of Emcees"
Soulful Scandinavian Kriswontwo recruits Cali MC MED to bless the drunken drums on the first track of his forthcoming full-length CEREMONI LP on Somothaship imprint. As the title has it, the combination is an "Epiphany Of Emcees." Touched with guitar strut, a slightly swung back beat and a soulful horn arrangement provided by Peter Marott, the lead-off single lends itself to your inner-head-bopper and could very well snap a neck or two, if your not careful.
The clip, directed by Mark Escribano & Sinziana Velicescu, charts a thrilling plot that lays somewhere between Spring Breakers and Looper, pitting MED and his cronies against themselves. Kris' CEREMONI LP for a September 15th drop and will mark a welcome return since he first came on the scene with Georgia Anne Muldrow's MS ONE EP and we couldn't be more thrilled, as he's proven time and time again his ability to tap into the earthy hip-hop elements that defined the generation of greats that came before him. The new LP will also feature a heavy-hitting cast of guests, including Oh No, Miss Jah Jah herself, Omar, Skyzoo, AB and a slew of new names we can't wait to be introduced to.
