OKP News: Rizzoli Announces M.I.A. Book

Renowned publisher of photo, art and coffee table books Rizzoli announced yesterday that they will be publishing an 'autobiographical monograph in collages' from musician and multimedia artist M.I.A. The  192-page hardcover tome is slated for publication in October of this year and will include over 300 images and several unpublished testimonials from Maya herself, covering her artistic history from'day one to present'. The book appears to be modelled on similar oversize folios dedicated to bands like The Clash--which makes sense, since they (like her other major influence Public Enemy) were a multimedia creation form jump, expressed in the bold look of their fashion and graphics as much as in their original sound--all qualities they share with M.I.A.
