Chicago MC Psalm One may be a name that tried and true Okayplayers recall from her earliest days as the first lady of Rhymesayers, but the midwestern microphone terror is back and in a big way, prepping her forthcoming P.O.L.Y. LP. And today we have the pleasure of bringing you the very first single from that imminent release in "Impatient (Just U & Us)," which assisted by Angelenah (FKA Angel Davanport) on the hook. The track -- produced by Bean Town beat-freaker Latrell James -- is a trap-inflected take on the Bill Withersclassic "Just The Two Of Us," laced with full-sprint high-hats and a heavenly hook, providing Psalm with the space to stretch out her rugged & raw verbiage over a cut that has all of the vibes.
