Wayne Brady joins Norah Jones on Robert Glasper's "Let It Ride"
Robert Glasper's Black Radio is the gift that keeps on giving. First of all, its giving us a whole Black Radio 2, and so far the Electric Boogaloo edition has already given us collaborative joints with Norah Jones, Common, Emeli Sandé and Jill Scott. Now Norah and Glasper are giving us a lyric video for their infectious slice of jazzy drum n' bass (let it ride, selector). This slice comes with a free side order of Wayne Brady perfecting his G thang (isn't it kind of crazy the extent to which music this quarter has become a case of life imitating Chappelle Show skits?). Maybe not that crazy if you know Glasper, those of use who are personally familiar already know; Rob Glasper's got jokes. In fact, he's got almost as many jokes as piano chops.
