Jimi Hendrix - "Earth Blues"
Another unreleased Jimi Hendrix gem from the rock god, dropped in the run-up to the March 5th release date for the highly anticipated posthumous album People, Hell & Angels. Packed with previously unreleased material, the album features 12 tracks recorded between 1968 and 1970. All of the songs were meant for First Days of The Rising Sun - the follow-up to Electric Ladyland that Hendrix was recording at the time of his death in 1970. The album includes appearances from Buddy Miles and Stephen Stills. This project - like every other Hendrix release since the time of his death - was overseen by Janie Hendrix, John McDermott and Eddie Kramer - dedicated engineer for all of his recordings. The entire project will be available for digital download March 5t. Physical copies go on sale April 1st. This particular jam is strictly for those of you who could never get enough of "Hey Joe"; "Earth Blues" hits the same sweet spot. Check out this unreleased Jimi Hendrix material.
