Snoop Dogg Back Up Scoop DeVille
Stop the presses and pause your rolling, Snoop Dogg is back with a brand new surprise single. It's called "Back Up," and features some funky on-point production from West Coast beatmaking denizen Scoop Deville. Sonically, the track veers left (or should that be West?) of Snoop Dogg's BUSH LP, digging into deep synthesizer funk rather than the filagreed Pharrell funk that's been his bag recently. We're not complaining one bit, though, as "Back Up" comes across like a mothership space laser from Snoop's home planet. It's like LBC launched itself beyond the Milky Way and then sent back a few transmissions for us to get down to.
