OKP Premiere: Watch Bay Area Future Soul Troupe The Seshen Perform "The Fall" Live & Direct

It's been a minute since we caught up with Bay Area seven-piece The Seshen, but they're back with a fresh new clip for their latest single "The Fall" off a forthcoming remix EP. Singers Lalin St. Juste and Akasha Orr provide a smooth, dulcet vocal treatment over fairly minimal instrumentation, soaked in swirling synth work and buzzing bass, inducing an electric feel that recalls a more straightforward approach on the progressive soul of acts like Little Dragon, Thundercat or Hiatus Kaiyote. Oddly enough, the septet has actually opened for each one of those acts and has built up quite the following both stateside and abroad on the grounds of their live show alone. For those of you out on the golden coast, you can catch the crew live and direct at either at El Cid in Los Angeles this Saturday, April 25th or in Oakland on May 8th at New Parish. Get a taste of what's to come with this intimate clip of them putting the work into "The Fall" down below and stay tuned for the next episode. Grab a copy of their latest piece Unravel on Bandcamp today.
