Boston based record label Get On Down is releasing legendary Bay Area rapper Too Short's club classic "Blow The Whistle" and The Beatnuts' track "Off the Books" featuring Big Punisher and Cuban Link on 7" vinyl. Too Short's "Blow The Whistle" was released back in 2006 and produced by Lil John while The Beatnuts' "Off the Books" dropped back in 1997. "Off the Books" was featured on The Beatnuts' third studio album Stone Crazy while Too Short's "Blow The Whistle" was featured on his sixteenth album of the same name. Each 7" features the track plus an instrumental. It is the first time Too Short's "Blow The Whistle" is getting the 7" treatment. You can cop the 7" records for $12.98 each.
