17-Year-Old Arrested In Connection to Murder of PnB Rock
The 17-year-old son of Freddie Trone has been accused of murdering PnB Rock before his father drove them off in a gateway car.
A suspect has been arrested in connection to the September 12 murder of rapper PnB Rock. According to TMZ, the 17-year-old son of Freddie Lee Trone was arrested for Rock's murder, as the son was accused of murdering the rapper before Trone drove them away in a getaway car.
Other sources say that the father and son were in the Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles parking lot when Rock, whose real name is Rakim Allen, arrived. The two men already being on site removes the likelihood that Allen was targeted from his girlfriend's social media post, showing that the two were dining at the restaurant's South Los Angeles location. The shooting resulted in the killer fleeing with several of Allen's gold and diamond chains.
After the shooting, the getaway car was reportedly burned. Since arresting the 17-year-old male, his father has also been named as a suspect, although his whereabouts are currently unknown. The 17-year-old was arrested on Tuesday morning (September 27) near Gardena.
“Freddie Lee Trone has been identified as being a person involved in the murder of Rakim Allen,” police said in a statement. “He should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, you are urged to call 911 for immediate assistance.”
Weeks before his murder, Allen spoke with DJ Akademiks about frequent daytime robberies in Los Angeles.
“Where I’m from, we like sneaky criminals,” Allen said. “And in L.A., they bold — they want to spark a conversation with you first before they get into some s***. Some of them might just go crazy.”
