50 Cent is Open to a Verzuz Battle With The Game...Under One Condition
50 Cent spoke on a potential Verzuz matchup with Big Boy's Neighborhood.
The Gucci Mane and Jeezy Verzuz news seems to have sparked a shift in the rap game. In a recent interview with Big Boy's Neighborhood, 50 Cent opened the door to a potential battle with former G-Unit signee The Game.
"Maybe Game," 50 replied when asked about potential Verzuz battles, before naming one condition. "Okay, look. He can't play records with my voice on them."
Over the weekend, Game's manager Wack 100 pushed the issue, calling on Uncle Murda to help him get the battle agreed upon.
"I got em to shake hands and function in the same clubs together twice," Wack wrote in the caption. "With a little help from Uncle Murda and DJ Kay Slay it might happen. All respect [50], you told me we was good. Let's give em what they want."
50 continued, paying some due respect to his former signee's discography. He also (indirectly) may have admitted that he'd be down to battle Game primarily for his own personal gain.
"As much as we fought and argued in the early stages, I rather see him benefit from the momentum than someone else," 50 continued. "He's still going to be part of G-Unit and part of the legacy overall. Even if you just want to focus on the break-up."
After leaving G-Unit, seven of his next eight albums debuted in the top two spots of the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
