A Musical With Unreleased Prince Music May Be In The Works

As we continue to deliberate amongst ourselves the appropriate course of action in regards to Prince's estate and its seemingly boundless catalogue of unreleased music, the icon's manager and attorney seem to have similar ambitions. Speaking with the New York Post, manager Charles Koppelman and lawyer L Londell McMillan (owner of The Source,) have revealed one than less expected means of distributing those unheards: a musical.

Seeming to point towards a Cirque De Soleil-type production (not unlike the Michael Jackson treatment,) the show would be a jukebox-styled revue, which could be a fairly apt form of tribute, considering just how theatrically-inclined the man was. Koppelman and McMillan have been appointed to manage Prince's assets and estate, hoping to monetize and save the estate from an unfathomable nine-figure tax burden. And while we have no idea when rightful heirs to the estate will be established, it appears work is already underway to help guide the estate out of this dark time, and this is just the tip of what's to come, for better or far, far worse.
