The rapper along with two associates have been in custody since July 3rd. The three will remain in custody until the trial. Next week, a date will be announced for the trial.
The Prosecutor in the case, Daniel Suneson, released a statement on Thursday saying Rocky is “suspected of assault causing actual bodily harm, having come to the conclusion that the events in question constitute a crime and despite claims of self-defense and provocation.”

Footage of the fight was posted by Rocky. The video seems to back up the claims that the two men were following and harassing Rocky and his crew.
However, Suneson said there is more evidence they have that complicates the case:
It is worth noting that I have had access to a greater amount of material than that which has previously been available on the internet...In addition to video material, the injured party’s statements have been supported by witness statements.
This case gathered a new set of eyeballs after President Donald Trump tweeted his support for the rapper.
