Action Bronson Gets Loose On The Dusty New Cut From Alchemist "Voodoo"
Action Bronson & Alchemist are like two weed-toking peas in a pod. Their creative kinship has been well-documented over the years, both on wax and in live settings, where Alan The Chemist doubles as Bam Bam's onstage hand behind the wheels of steel. Today, the duo are adding yet another episode to their long-standing saga with the release of Alchemist's new single "Voodoo," which finds Bronson getting loose with his culinary lines over some dusty, psychedelic soul chops from the beat wizard, harking back to their work on Mr. Wonderful, spacey and cerebral and too damn fun for our own good. The track comes to us from Alchemist's forthcoming project Retarded Alligator Beats, slated to be pressed on limited edition vinyl, filled to the brim with unreleased Alchemist joints and paired with a box of crayons, so you can finally do something productive while you burn one down to this hazy, but wholly fulfilling new piece. Bam will be the lone guest appearance on the project, which is fine by us. At this point, I don't know if we'd have it any other way. Let your head knock to Alchemist & Action Bronson's smooth new cut "Voodoo" and preorder the new record on iTunes today.
