Aloe Blacc + KING To Perform At "GRAMMY In The Schools Live!" Benefit Concert In L.A.
On Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017 Aloe Blacc andKING will perform at the eighth annual "GRAMMY In The Schools Live! — A Celebration Of Music & Education" at The Novoin Los Angeles, CA. The event will feature members of the Grammy Camp's Jazz Session and is being presented by the Ford Motor Company Fund. Hundreds of students from the Los Angeles area will be in attendance for the concert. Students will also participate in the Grammy Foundation's Grammy Career Day, a one-day event that connects high school students with music industry professionals."GRAMMY In The Schools Live!" is described as being "a benefit concert that is meant to raise money as well as awareness for the GRAMMY Foundation’s Education Programs. Performers will include students from our programs as well as a special guest artist to be determined." A few months back Aloe Blacc returned to his hip-hop roots by linking with Exile and resurrecting Emanon. The duo dropped the ten track project Dystopia. The project features guest verses from Blu and Cashus King. Emanon's previous project was 2005’s The Waiting Room. KING released their Grammy nominated debut full-length album We Are KING last year.The album is nominated in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category.
