PLAYLIST: The Round-Up: Best Songs of The Week - ft. Pink Siifu, Mahalia, BADBADNOTGOOD, and More
Recorded the week before the nation went into lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the stage is a familiar one. Nestled into a packed corner of NPR HQ, the band runs through four selections from their self-titled debut album. The performance commences with singer India Shawn (filling in for Daniel Caesar) leading the group through "Beauty & Essex" and "On Sight." All smiles and gratitude, .Paak steps into the frame and behind the kit for "Gidget," warming up the in-house audience for Chronixx, who closes out the performance with "Eternal Light."
