Anderson .Paak Says NxWorries is in "Album Mode"
On Tuesday, Anderson .Paak went to Instagram with a dance clip of his son, Soul, teasing that a NxWorries sophomore album is on the way.
Anderson .Paak supergroup Silk Sonic might be a current top-charting favorite, but NxWorries has next. .Paak went to Instagram and shared a clip of his son Soul dancing to a new NxWorries track. “ALBUM MODE #NxWorries @knxwledge,” .Paak wrote in the caption.
It's been more than five years since .Paak and Knxwledgereleased their debut NxWorries album, Yes Lawd!, on Stones Throw Records. But fans have long-awaited new music, with Black Thought, Amanda Seales and Lalah Hathaway rejoicing in the clip's comment section.
.Paak last spoke of a new NxWorries album on The Zane Lowe Show in October 2020.
“We’re working on a new one,” .Paak said. “I was just over there the other day. You know what I’m saying? We’ve been getting it in. We’ve got a bunch of stuff that we’re really happy about.”
