Ariana Grande Disables Instagram Comments After Trolls Blame Her For Mac Miller's Death
Ariana Grande isn't responsible for this whatsoever.
Ariana Grande has disabled comments on her Instagram after countless trolls took to her account to blame her for Mac Miller's death.
Grande and Miller previously dated but to blame his death and substance abuse problems on her is not only disrespectful but heartless. Miller was vocal about his problems throughout his career.
TMZ didn't help in this regard either. When it first broke the news of Miller's death the gossip website associated his substance abuse problems with his breakup with Grande.
Although TMZ has since revised the initial paragraph in question, the original can be seen below courtesy of Twitter user Madeleine Davies:
"Miller has had trouble recently with substance abuse...in the wake of his breakup with Ariana Grande," the post originally read. "The rapper wrecked his G-Wagon by wrapping it around a utility pole back in May and was arrested for DUI and hit and run. He fled the scene but cops say he later confessed at his home. He blew 2 times the legal limit."
Numerous people have since called out TMZ for the disrespectful write-up.
Others have also called out other websites for referring to Miller as Grande's ex-boyfriend, absolving the fact that he was a talented artist in his own right.
It should go without saying that Grande isn't responsible for the tragic loss that happened today. And those of you blaming her for it are fucking terrible for doing so.
