OKP Premiere: ATELLER x Tan Brown - "Running Outer Space"
Brooklyn-based Israeli performance artist and producer ATELLER preps fans for the March release of his debut full-length 1001 Nights LP with the lead single "Running Outer Space" featuring Tan Brown. The first fruit from the forthcoming project follows a head-nodding ambient remix of SZA's "Sobriety" and the release of his acclaimed Finding EP, which landed this past summer via Altered Scope. Fresh from their collaborative work on the Finding standout "Freedom", ATELLER and Brown join forces again to serve up a sweeping electric production that recaptures the magic of their first foray and stretches it into an enveloping two-stepper driven by an infectious melody and outrageously sickening synths. ATELLER delivers this joint with a note on the creative partnership that gave birth to this track:
"Working with Tan is such a natural process... She comes to the crib with her tea and just chills back while i play her my ideas. Nothing is prepared. After listening and meditating we plug her in and she's just straight up improvising ideas that are gold. She's one of those born to be singers who can't be out of tune even if she tried. It seriously took us 1 hour to write and record this song. I then rearrange everything and by the time I'm done it's totally different new song..."
