Aziz Ansari Announces 'Master of None' Season 2 Premiere Date with Teaser Clip
Aziz Ansari's dating-in-the-digital-age comedy, Master of None, was picked up for a second season before the first even premiered. It was a success by both critic and civilian metrics, winning Critics' Choice and Emmy Awards, and is perhaps the most diverse comedy on TV today.
This morning, the comedian announced the second season's premiere date with a teaser clip that found the lead and co-star, Eric Wareheim, riding side-by-side on scooters on scenic country road. The premiere date, May 12th, flashes at the tail-end of the clip. In his time off-screen, Ansari published the New York Times best-seller, Modern Romance, and wrote a scathing op-ed for NYT, detailing the impact of Trump's imminent Muslim Ban on his family.
