Bandcamp Announces It Will Now Be Pressing Up Vinyl
BC is going analog.
On Wednesday (April 17th) Bandcamp announced a new service that will help make it easier for artists to sell their music on vinyl.

The service will allow artists to create fundraising campaigns for vinyl release. It seems like a pretty sweet deal for artists: no up-front investment is requrired. And once the minimum goal is met, Bandcamp will press the records and ship them out.
Artists will have full control of design and pricing.

Bandcamp made the announcement with the release of four campaigns: Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah’s Ancestral Recall, Juliette Jade’s Constellation, Jim Guthrie’s Below (Original Soundtrack), and Mesarthim’s Ghost Condensate.
This is the latest non-online move Bandcamp has made. Earlier this year Bandcamp opened a record shop in Oakland.
