13 New Hip-Hop & R&B Albums You Should Be Listening To (Week Of October 29)
Big Sean, Reason, Peter $un, Amaal, Hush Forte, and more make up this week's best new albums.
As usual, we’ve kept our ears and eyes open for you, our readers as we prepare to head into the weekend for New Music Friday. Hip-hop reigns supreme this week.
Big Sean and Hit Boy have surprise-dropped a new EP titled What You Expect; A$AP Rocky’s cult classic Long.Live.A$AP finally hits streamers; Curren$y and Harry Fraud present Regatta; and Peter $un releases Scumbaby (Deluxe).
If you’re looking for something more experimental, we recommend rising indie artist Hush Forte’s album Look Closely and ROMderful’s PLEASE RECONNECT CONTROLLER. Also, in a similar vein, Amaal has unleashed her latest project Milly and cktrl’s zero is a release that sticks out this week.
Notably, Reason shared a reflective project No More, No Less: Demo 1; Buju’s Sorry I’m Late is here and you should take Jay Worthy’s Two4Two for a spin.
Elsewhere there are other releases by Felly, B.O.B and Ahmad Anonomis.
