Big Boi Stars in an Animated Mental Health PSA

Big Boi is the latest musician to join the ongoing effort to destigmatize the discussion of mental health. The rapper's released a new animated PSA for the Therapy Pets campaign from The Public Good Projects.

The minute-and-a-half animation stars Big Boi as an owl piloting a plane and searching for the right words to describe what is often an inarticulate discourse that affects more than 40 million people across the country. On Twitter, the rapper elaborated, "Being a dad and a man of words I wanted to help bring attention to the importance of choosing good words to talk about mental health."

The Public Good Projects is a non-profit that seeks to understand, monitor, and fundamentally change, the discussions of public health threats. Therapy Pets enlists animals and their owners to assist in the support of those suffering from a range of mental health conditions.
