Bilal Shares Slippery, '80s-Touched Single "Pleasure Toy" f. Big K.R.I.T.
Bilal has been turning up in just about every corner of 2015's massive musical moment. Early June found him launching a worldwide touring affair presented by yours truly, while his patented squall was found soaring on the intro to Slum Village's recently relinquished Yes! LP, as well as his own stratospheric single "Satellites" off the forthcoming Adrian Younge-produced In Another Life LP, which graced us with the Kendrick Lamar-assisted "Money Over Love" just this weekend via Giles Peterson's radio show.
But the Philly-bred music-man is far from done. Today he's let go of another new track from the LP, in the sultry and seductive, '80s r&b-inspired single "Pleasure Toy" featuring microphone maven Big K.R.I.T. dishing out gangsta love jewels over a slippery, synth-laden production from Younge, a marked departure from the dusty soul stuff we've long been treated to from the analogue king. It's the type of breezy summer love joint that should get plenty of rotations in your nighttime listening regimen and it's another fine offering from the record that keeps on giving, well before it's even released. Get close to with the one you love and spin Bilal's lovely new single "Pleasure Toy" below. Preorder In Another Life via iTunes today ahead of its June 30th release.
