Bilal Connects w/ Philly Collective Killiam Shakespeare on the Soulful "The Circle" [PREMIERE]
Bilal and Killiam Shakespeare cooked up something special.
On Friday (November 2nd) Philly-based instrumental collective Killiam Shakespeare will release their sophomore album A Town Called Elsewhere. The album is an eclectic mix of soul, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic. And, because of its density, it's an album that rewards repeat listening.

The hard-hitting “Crispus Attucks,” which features an appearance from fellow hometown hero DJ Jazzy Jeff, is the first single from A Town Called Elsewhere's. Now, on the eve of the album's release, we are happy to premiere one of the standout tracks from the album. Today we're premiering "The Circle," a soulful bop featuring the legendary singer Bilal, singing over Killiam Shakespeare’s punchy drums and lush strings. It sounds like classic Bilal.
You'll be able to download or streamA Town Called Elsewhere tomorrow. We would encourage you to take it all in at once. The songs, transition into to each other. (Trust when we say this: it's impressive when you take it in.)
