Black Thought and Rhymefest Link Up with Raheem DeVaughn on "O.G. Philosophy"

Rhymefest shared a snippet of the song after appearing on the World Music Foundation podcast.

The Chicago MC known as Che "Rhymefest" Smith has been a busy man as of late. In September 2018, producer S1 revealed Smith had formed a supergroup along with Black Thought, and Phonte of Little Brother. On Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning show, he revealed that he and Black Thought have recorded "five, six joints."

To go along with his appearance on the World Music Foundation podcast, Smith released one of those collaborations. The first offering, "OG Philosophy," features Raheem DeVaughn. Stream the track above.

The trio previously released the track "Make Noise." The track appears in the credits of Emilio Estevez's 2019 film The Public, in which Smith made his acting debut.

This past September, Rhymefest appeared on AMC's original series Hip-Hop: The Songs That Shook America. The rapper and community organizer walked viewers through the creation of Kanye West's instant classic "Jesus Walks." In 2016, he revealed his plans to transform West's childhood home into a community arts center and Chicago music museum.
