Brandy Shares New Song "Baby Mama" Featuring Chance The Rapper

The song will be featured on an album Brandy will be releasing later this year.

Brandy has released a new song featuring Chance The Rapper.

Titled "Baby Mama," the Hit-Boy-produced track is an ode to Brandy's daughter, Sy'rai, as well as a tribute to mothers across the world.

"My new single is about embracing the strength and fortitude needed not only in motherhood, but in life," the singer said in a press release. "I am thrilled that Chance joined me on this track, and I hope my fans find it as uplifting as I intended it to be!"

A music video for the single will premiere on BET May 4.

"Baby Mama" serves as the follow-up to last year's "Love Again" featuring Daniel Caesar.

In 2018, Okayplayer spoke with Brandy about the 20-year anniversary of her second album, Never Say Never, where she said the project "changed the course of my life."

"I found one of the best producers in the world [Rodney Jerkins] to help me find my new sound," she said. "I was so free to try things vocally and the Darkchild team gave me their best work and sweet support."
