Cam’ron Links up With Mahalia and Ella Mai on Remix for "What You Did"
Mahalia's single from her latest album Love and Compromise gets a revamp.
After dropping his latest album Purple Haze 2, Cam’ron has hopped on the remix of Mahalia’s single “What You Did” featuring Ella Mai. Since the first cut of the single was created with his 2002 track “Oh Boy” with Juelz Santana it’s only right that Cam'ron graced the catchy track with his presence. As soon as you hit play on the new song, he raps about staying truthful to who you’re dealing with. Then before Mai arrives he provides another memorable verse.
Mahalia had a successful run in 2019 consisting of the release of her album Love and Compromise. The project was stacked with features by Burna Boy, Lucky Daye, Hamzaa and more. Additionally, she also won YouTube’s One To Watch award last year.
For this year’s prestigious BRIT Awards, the singer was nominated in the best female solo artist category. Though she didn’t take home a win, the nomination alone proves that she’s currently leaving an indelible mark within the music industry.
