Watch Cardi B, Ye & Lil Durk Connect on the "Hot Shit" Video
Four years after releasing her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B returns with new single "Hot Shit" featuring Ye and Lil Durk.
The gloves are off on new Cardi B single "Hot Shit." Cardi surprised fans with the desert-themed Lado Kvataniya-directed video for "Hot Shit", with Lil Durk and what appears to be a masked-up Ye. (Even though it's not apparent this is actually Ye himself.)
The video is all CGI, with the three figures appearing in these different fantastical environments.
Cardi has been teasing the Tay Keith-produced "Hot Shit for a number of weeks." Last month she said the single would be unline anything fans had heard from her before.
"It’s something that I feel like y’all haven’t heard from me before... I feel like people is expecting a lot of sl*tness and blah blah blah. Y’all keep talking I keep making TikTok records and this is definitely not that. It’s a fun great record. It’s masculine [and] it’s great for the clubs. It’s great for the bitches."
Back in January, Ye confirmed on Hollywood Unlocked that he had recorded a verse for Cardi.
"I always believed in her since she was on [Love & Hip-Hop], period," he said during the interview.
While Cardi is still prepping her sophomore album, she's held fans over with a handful of collaborations, including "Wild Side" with Normani, Summer Walker and SZA's "No Love" remix, and Kay Flock's "Shake It" remix with Dougie B and Bory3000.
