Celebrities Respond to Mac Miller's Sudden Death

Mac Miller has died at age 26 of an apparent overdose.
According to a report in TMZ, the Pittsburgh rapper was found dead Friday afternoon in his San Fernando Valley home
Miller, née Malcolm James McCormick, has been battling substance abuse prior to his reported overdose. The artist was charged with a DUI after crashing his car in Los Angeles this past May.

The rapper and singer was also a noted record producer working under the pseudonym Larry Fisherman. He released his debut studio album Blue Slide Park in 2011. The album debuted at no. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, making it the first independently distributed debut album to do so since Tha Dogg Pound's 1995 album, Dogg Food.
His fifth studio album, Swimming, was just released on August 3 and the death comes as a tragic surprise to fans, critics, and celebs alike. Miller's industry peers took to Twitter to express their condolences and share their memories with the artist.
Miller had planned to launch a tour for his new album at the end of October.
