Chance The Rapper chatted with DJ Semtex on BBC Radio 1Xtra. Chano talked about the first time he wrote a poem (4th grade), the first time he heard Kanye West, and much more in the twenty eight minute interview. Chano also spoke about President Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Hamilton. The biggest piece of information that came out of the interview was Chance talking about working on a new project, possibly a debut studio album. So far in his career Chano has only released mixtapes. There was 2012's 10 Days, 2013's Acid Rap, and most recently this year's Coloring Book. Chance has also worked on collaborative albums such as 2015's Surf with Donnie Trumpet (who now goes by Nico Segal) and The Social Experiment and Free (Based Freestyles Mixtape) with Lil B. Chance remarked, "I don't know exactly the format every time when I'm making something but a lot of times I have an idea, and I think what I'm working on right now is an album." Recently, Chance cancelled the remaining dates on the European leg of his tour. Watch the full interview with Chance The Rapper via YouTube below.
