Chris Rock And Dave Chappelle to Co-Headline Stand-Up Tour
Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle will embark on a seven-date stand-up tour in California and Arizona from December 1 to December 14.
Chris Rock and Dave Chappelleare headed west. The two comedians will embark on a seven-date comedy engagement in December, visiting select cities in California and Arizona including San Diego, Anaheim, San Jose, San Francisco, Sacramento, Thousand Palms ,and Phoenix.
Currently Rock is concluding his lengthy "Ego Death World Tour," which has remaining shows in Virginia, D.C., and Texas. During the final days of 2022, Chappelle will headline shows at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida and the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, the latter where he'll be hosting a New Year's Eve show.
Both longtime friends, Rock and Chappelle have occasionally appeared onstage together this year, namely at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles after the comedians got attacked in similar incidents. At the Hollywood Bowl show in May where Chappelle got tackled on-stage, Rock took the stage and asked the audience, “Was that Will Smith?” Days later at The Comedy Store, Chappelle and Rock joked about their respective incidents, with Chappelle proclaiming, “At least you got smacked by someone of repute!” Rock rebutted, “I got smacked by the softest n**** that ever rapped.”
Smith has since apologized to Rock publicly in a 5-minute video, where the Oscar-winning actor acknowledged that slapping Rock "was unacceptable," and extended an offer for a future conversation.
Presale tickets for Rock and Chappelle's tour will be available on Live Nation on October 20 at 10 AM local time, and general public tickets go on sale October 21.
