Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA Announce Collaborative Album with Sinister Single
The track was previewed by the duo on a recent episode of The Danny Brown Show podcast.
After roughly a year of teasing a joint project, Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA have officially put their collaborative album in the book.
This morning, the duo dropped "Lean Beef Patty," the sinister lead single from their freshly-announced album, Scaring The Hoes. The frantic and fierce single was initially previewed at the tail-end of a recent episode of The Danny Brown Show, the Detroit rapper's riotous freeform podcast, where they revealed the track was named after a Youtube fitness star.
The rappers previously collaborated on the track "Negro Spiritual" off Brown's 2019 album, uknowhatimsayin¿, which was executive-produced by Q-Tip and featured additional appearances from Blood Orange, Run The Jewels, Obongjayar, and more. Brown has certainly kept busy in the years since, launching his own podcast, starring in a Vice TV talk show, hosting an in-game radio station on Grand Theft Auto V, and, of course, rapping his ass off in guest spots on albums from Zeelooperz and Brockhampton. For JPEGMAFIA, Scaring The Hoes will mark the rapper's first full-length project since 2021, when he released his twisted and towering album, LP!.
Hear the lead single from Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA's forthcoming collaborative album, Scaring The Hoes, below. There's no firm date on the project's release just yet, but the rumor mill chatter suggests we'll likely see Scaring The Hoes at some point this month. Hold tight for their next transmission in the weeks ahead.
